Forum Title: Laminate flooring on walls
what do you think you would charge to install laminate flooring on walls, 4? high. It will be installed vertically over sheetrock. It is a pretty big area in a restaurant Customer is going to install baseboards on the bottom and a chair rail on top. I am going to use silicone adhesive ( in a caulk tube) on the back as well as brad nails on the very top and bottom ( which will be covered by the molding) I thought about leaving a 1/4 expansion in the corners, and have them install trim on the inside and outside corners. I normally get $2/ square ft. for a floor

Single planks should move along fairly fast I'd think. Ought to fly with no end joining. I'd use a regular adhesive maybe a polyurethane. With a chair rail on top and base on the bottom I wouldn't think it would need but a couple of bands of adhesive or maybe a few grape sized dots near the center of the each plank.

We get anywhere between $30 to $45 a ft for tile on walls, so I'm thinking $20 would be a good deal.
